The 2023-24 PEER Student Committee (PSC) will hold the kickoff meeting on Monday, October 23rd from 5:00 - 6:15pm PST.
The PEER Student Committee is a network built by students, for students, and we would love to have you join! We are dedicated to inspiring innovation and building leadership in earthquake engineering (from structural to geotechnical and everything in between) with officers from across PEER institutions
Each year, we hold our annual PSC Kickoff event, where we showcase our progress and vision for the upcoming academic year, and how you can get involved across each of our 3 subcommittees: (1) research, (2) professional, and (3) outreach. Students who are not a part of the PSC will be provided with information on how to join. This year, we will be organizing the event around a unique networking experience, giving you the opportunity to meet students from across the PEER network, and a platform to share new initiatives that can bring students together.

5:00pm - 5:10pm -- Introductions
5:10pm - 5:35pm -- Kickoff session
5:35pm - 5:55pm -- Q&A session + forum on 2023-2024 issue areas and opportunities
5:55pm - 6:15pm -- Networking session
The event (and the PSC as a network) is open to all CEE undergraduate/graduate students + post-docs, current and inactive, and new members. If you are unsure whether this is a good fit or not — just come.
